How to request that your data be deleted
No matter where you live, if you've used a RouteThis product you can ask us to delete the data we hold about you. We follow the data protection and privacy regulations that apply in your region, and we make it straightforward to exercise your privacy rights.
How to make a request
Send all deletion requests to privacy@routethis.com. In your email, please include:
- The information listed below for the specific product your data was generated in.
- A statement of whether you're requesting the deletion of your own personal data, or making the request on behalf of someone else.
If you're not sure which RouteThis product your data was generated in, reach out to your Service Provider and they can confirm which product was used.
What happens after you submit
We'll confirm we've received your request, verify the details, and delete the data we hold about you. We aim to complete requests within 30 days. If we need more time or more information to locate your data, we'll let you know.
Deletion is permanent. Once your data is deleted, it can't be recovered.
In some cases we may need to keep certain information to meet our legal, financial, or security obligations, or to complete a service that's still active. If any of your data falls under one of these exceptions, we'll tell you what we're keeping and why.
What we need from you
To find and delete the right data, we need a way to identify you within the product you used. The details depend on the product.
RouteThis Help and other RouteThis apps
To delete your user data from RouteThis Help or a related app, we'll need your Customer Key, or another customer identifier from the app.
RouteThis Certify
To delete your user data from RouteThis Certify, we'll need the address listed on the Certificate from your Service Provider.
